Choosing a place on the site
In order for the bushes to bear fruit well, you need to choose the right place for their growth. Strawberries grow well on small slopes, with a slope of 2-3 degrees. It is advisable to plant seedlings on the southwest side of the plot.
Variety "Bereginya" can grow almost on any type of soil. But to get a high yield is obtained if you plant bushes in black soil or dark gray forest soil with a light composition. - Watering. It is recommended to moisturize strawberries daily in the morning. Water the bushes need to root.
- Weeding. Weed grass should be removed as it appears.
- Loosening. The procedure should be carried out after each irrigation in order to avoid the appearance of an earth crust. Loosen should be carefully, trying not to damage the roots of the plant.
- Top dressing. Fertilize strawberries need at least 3 times per season. Immediately after planting, use complex fertilizers, after flowering - potash fertilizers, and before wintering - organic. Some use vegetable and well-decomposed manure.
- Mulching. In order for the moisture to evaporate less and the weeds to grow more slowly, a layer of mulch should be laid under the bushes. To do this, use sawdust, mowed grass or agrofibre.
