With such a proposal, the Belarusian team of Onto Technologies startups and the Onega company are currently taking the floor. For their predictions, after the implementation of cricket chips, they will start selling bars, which will also have insects in their composition.
As the head of the startup Sergei Makarov, the chips, which are already on sale from the new year, will be only 2% consist of cricket flour. Paws and wings in the product will not be visible, but milled insects can significantly increase the benefit of the product, become a great source of proteins and chitin. 
According to Makarov, cricket products will help avoid a possible food crisis, which is expected in the future. When there is little food, people will look for a source of energy in insects, because they have a large amount of protein and other useful substances.
In the future, the team wants to develop and after sales of chips, start selling new products, such as: bars, pasta, and even canned crickets. Also, startups want to engage in the manufacture of sports nutrition, but as the head says, it will take a lot of effort and money.
