Inference history
The variety was bred by the breeders of the Kemerovo Research Institute (Siberia). In the creation of the hybrid "took part" not only from Russia, but also from Canada. The whole process lasted about 10 years. The hybrid got its name in honor of the governor of the region A. Tuleyev, who held the post for more than 20 years. It was brought to the State Register in 2006.
"Tuleevsky" was created specifically for cultivation in local harsh climatic conditions, but it became popular in other regions, including in Europe.

Botanical description
The shape and compactness of the bush makes this variety very easy to care for.
Tubers
The tuber has the shape of an elongated oval and yellow, rough skin. Eyes, as a rule, very small and rarely found. Inside the tuber is yellow-beige, the texture is dense, the taste is sweetish. One fruit weighs an average of 250 g, but there are also half-kilogram specimens. Starch level does not exceed 17%.

It is planted after uniformly heating the soil to +10 ° C, as a rule, in May. The earth should be moderately moist.
Location selection
Potato bushes are quite compact and quite undemanding of the place, so you can plant them between berry bushes, under trees, etc. It is recommended not to place the plants in areas close to groundwater. Regarding protection from the wind, the variety is prepared for Siberian conditions, therefore the area’s levity does not affect its yield.

Potatoes can be planted for several years at the same place, but in order to preserve the yield, it is recommended to sow the soil immediately after harvesting it with oats to clean it.
Important! Do not plant "Tuleyevsky" in the place of growth of sunflower, tomatoes and plants of the family of solanaceous.
Soil preparation
The soil is prepared for planting in advance. They dig it up twice: in spring and autumn. Before planting, be sure to remove all the weeds, and in each hole put a little shredded branches, grass, compost or humus.
Preparation of planting material
Material for planting begin to prepare for 1 month. To do this, lay it in a layer of 3 roots in a warm place, protected from direct sunlight. It is treated against pests and preparations to enhance growth. 3 days before planting, large potatoes are cut into pieces so that each piece has at least 3 eyes. Watering
Potatoes do not need regular watering, and it is enough to loosen the aisles during the drought period. Excessive watering can cause root rot.
Top dressing
The ideal fertilizer is manure or bird droppings. It is introduced into the soil in diluted form after rain or watering. Chemical fertilizers are best not to use. In addition, if the soil itself is fertile, then fertilizer can not be applied. 
Weeding and loosening the soil
Regular loosening of the soil is necessary only in conditions of severe drought. Weeding is carried out as necessary, so that the weeds do not clog the plants.

Hilling is carried out three times per season:
- after the first shoots;

As a preventive measure, before planting, the material is treated from the Colorado potato beetle and other pests by Prestige (1 l per 100 kg), and to activate growth, by Emistim or similar stimulant.
Harvesting and storage
After 3 months from the time of planting potatoes, you can begin to harvest when the tops become yellow and dry. Before being deposited, the root crop is dried. The optimal storage temperature is 3 degrees Celsius with 95% humidity. Tubers are recommended to be placed on a straw backing.
